Don't Flinch! Stand United with Christ

“Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭28‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I hear the Lord say, “You are formidable to the enemy!” You are intimidating to the enemy. I looked up formidable and this is what it said- inspiring fear or respect through being impressively large, powerful, intense, or capable.

You are more than a conqueror! Your confidence in his ability through you and for you is your weapon. He who is in You is greater than He who is in the world!

Again, I’m not speaking of a people as enemy’s here, I’m referring to the enemy of our souls. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (Eph. 6:12)

I declare this over us all today! We are more than conquerors, we are hyper-victorious through Christ Jesus, our Lord. We walk on the scene and the enemy shakes in his boots because Jesus, our older brother, is the most powerful being in all the galaxies and he’s already defeated him and we are occupying- enforcing his victory- till his return. He’s given us all authority. And when we receive it, nothing can intimidate or harm us! (Luke 10:19) We are not mere humans (1 Cor. 3:3) We are filled with a supernatural God! We are on assignment and it shall not be thwarted by the enemy! Our confidence is a sure sign of the enemy’s impending destruction and of our salvation!

I hear him say, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” I see us as giants and the enemy as little gnats flying by our ears we can just simply bat away with ease.

Maybe there is doubt shouting at you loudly that this is all nonsense, too good to be true. I want to challenge those doubts and implore you to seek God on the matter. Search out the Word in earnest with an open heart.

He’s highlighting this verse in this hour- “But our way is not that of those who shrink back to destruction, but [we are] of those who believe [relying on God through faith in Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by this confident faith preserve the soul.” - Hebrews 10:39 AMP

The hours is dark but, our light shines brightest in the dark! We needn’t fear because the darkness cannot harm us. We are children of the day and of the light, we carry the light. We expel darkness. We carry the antidote to the chaos and confusion, we carry shalom. (And if you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, this is the time to run to Him for safety and make him Lord of your life! Message me if you need direction or prayer.)
