EVERY Thing Is Going to Be OK

I hear Him say: (4.15.23) 

“I’ve come as you’ve called out to me. I’m right here. I’m not distant. Just rest here in my embrace, in this secret place, in the garden of your heart, where it’s you and me alone. My left hand cradles your head while my right hand holds you close. You are at rest in my love. (Song of Songs 2:6) It’s all going to be ok. 

Don’t let overwhelm steal your peace. Guard it. Remember to be still and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10) I am at work. I am in control. You don’t have to be. You are trying to keep all the balls in the air like a master juggler. If you loose concentration you feel as if everything will come crashing down. The truth is- your world is in MY hands. Put everything in my hands for safe keeping. I’ll show you which balls you don’t need to bother with any way. You’ve put too much pressure on yourself to perform. You struggle with contentment because you’re not meeting your goals or standards. How about I set the goals? I set the standards? Seek me first. (Matthew 6:33-34) proper order will rectify this discontentment you’re feeling. What if it IS finished and you can rest and celebrate my goodness every day? What if my blood is enough for you to be completely clean, forgiven, and free? (Colossians 1:22) Free from the law and free from the tyranny of the task master. (Galatians 3:13) Why don’t you come back to your victory seat? (Ephesians 2:6) 

You’re not to carry the weights of this world on your shoulders. I didn’t create you to carry those cares. Put them off. Cast them upon me, because I tenderly care for you. (1 Peter 5:7) Humble yourself under my mighty arm and I will raise you up at the proper time. (1 Peter 5:6) It’s like you’ve been in the jungle bushwhacking your own path and getting all these cuts from the branches along the way. You’re exerting so much energy and making very slow progress. How about you allow me to direct your path as a shepherd directs his sheep? In turn, your journey will be carefree as my little sheep. If you get scared, I will pick you up and carry you in my arms, close to my heart. (Isaiah 40:11) 

There is more to see and more to know about me. (Jeremiah 33:3) I want you to become fascinated with discovering me. (Isaiah 55:6) If you fix your attention on me, this world’s troubles will begin to loose there grip on your affections and you will find peace of mind again. I will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on me, because they trust in me. (Isaiah 26:4) Like a baby bird in its nest, it waits upon its parents to feed it. I need you to do the same. Wait upon me to feed you. (Isaiah 55:1-2) Know that I will not leave you forsaken or let you go hungry. I will always provide. I will meet all your needs according to my glorious riches. (Philippians 4:19) 

The answers to your every problem will become evident as you sit with me. I am your friend. I reveal my secrets to my friends. Allow me to share them with you. (Psalm 25:14, John 15:15) 

You were designed to overcome with total and complete victory. (Colossians 1:22, 2:15) You are a champion, my friend, clothed in righteousness. (Romans 8:37, Isaiah 61:10) Stand tall with your head held high. I have overcome this world and so will you as you allow me to disciple you in my ways. (John 16:33) Walk with me and work with me- watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly. (Matthew 11:28)
