Allow Me to Peel Back the Layers.

 “I desire to be your life coach” 

I want you to check in with me throughout the day, meeting with me at regular intervals. It’s time to really open up to me about everything you’re dealing with. 

There is a greater level of vulnerability I am calling you into. I’m gifting you greater emotional intelligence. I’m showing you your heart rightly as you’ve never seen it before. 

(Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!”) 

It’s a deep knowing of your weaknesses and coming to me with every single one without trying to solve them like challenging riddles or complicated problems on your own.

In this place of knowing intimately yourself and allowing me into every crack and crevice in your heart and soul, I will awaken you to my presence in a deeper and more tangible way than you’ve known previously. You will recognize my constant nearness. I truly am closer than your skin, closer than the air in your lungs. 

As you open your heart to me, I will expose wrong thinking and renew your mind, washing it with the cleansing of my Word. This is a season of mighty deliverance from old mindsets that have held you back for far too long. I’m calling you out of the cave and into the sunshine of a new day. 

Sit with me and open your heart up to me daily. Take me serious in this and I will bring you into your greatest season of transformation, into your true identity. You will see yourself the way I see you. You will learn how to daily “take out the trash.” You will bring all the old thoughts, mindsets, and paradigms, that don’t hold any weight, to the waste heap to be burned outside the city. I will sift through your thoughts with you and show you what is gold and what needs to be thrown out. 

You will be refreshed and renewed as you receive the true reality each day. You will break agreement with these exposed falsehoods and seek my absolute truth straight from my mouth alone. (Matthew 4:4)

I am giving you a higher level of discernment. As you are able to discern from this higher vantage point you will allow my Word to work in you to separate the soul from the spirit. Old works of the flesh will be cut off. You will now see that you have the authority to resist sin’s temptation in your heart as you submit to my leadership. You will begin to speak to the voices of the enemy in your thoughts and rebuke them, commanding them to be silent and go and they will. You will start to speak the truth of my word over every lie and as you do you will grow bigger and bigger until you can squash those giants like ants under your feet. 

You will start to see clearly that you are above the oppression and temptation of sin and not beneath the weight of it. It will be a dying of the old nature, daily. It will be a glorious transformation like a caterpillar into a butterfly. I desire to give you a marvelous makeover. There is a shedding taking place. Allow me to peel back the layers until only the things of my spirit remain. My heart for you is pure and unadulterated. Your heart towards me and others will become a reflection of my heart towards you. There is work to be done here. You haven’t reached the point of perfection yet. 

You must open your heart to me daily, hourly, moment-by-moment. Without allowing me entrance and owning your behavior, thoughts, and attitudes you will stay the same and never experience this cutting off of old I’m drawing you into. Will you take this road less traveled with me and let me refine you once again?
