To Those Who Love Him
I hear Him say: 3.1.23
“I am for you, not against you. My ways towards you are pure, upright, noble. My heart towards you is kind. I’m undone by your love. I’m overwhelmed by your desire for me. I can’t wait to shower you with songs of deliverance (Psalm 32:7) and rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17)
My heart is so full of pride in you! You’re a fighter! An overcomer! (Romans 8:37) I see how hard you’ve tried and are trying. You haven’t thrown in the towel and walked away from me. Even when you couldn’t run you’ve crawled. There is still intention in your heart to move towards me and I see it. I see your tenacity. I approve of your dedication to me even in the midst of tough times. You are like the shulamite bride who has taken some hits and been beat up by religion yet are still seeking me. (Song of songs 5:7-8) You still believe my goodness is coming for you. (Psalm 23:6) Like Job, you refused to curse me. (Job 2:9&10) You’ve held onto your integrity. You’ve gritted your teeth and held on to your faith despite opposition. I see your roots growing stronger as the storms have come to try to uproot you. I’ve seen the enemy try to shift you and I’ve prayed for you to remain strong. (Luke 21:31-32) You may not feel strong, but feelings can be deceiving. Neither does the boxer feel strong after “going the distance,” 12 long rounds against his opponent to win the victory. You ARE growing in endurance. It’s my precious gift to you. (James 1:2-4, 2 Corinthians 4:16–18, Colossians 1:10–12) My endurance shapes you into my image.
I desire to see you thrive, to see you soar high above the obstacles that once held you in bondage. I desire you to walk with me in complete freedom from the traps of this world. I’ve done it all for you on the cross. It’s a journey now of following me along my path of righteousness.(Psalm 23:3) Come in close and focus your attention on me. I will show you the way you’ve never been before. It’s a place of complete surrender.
I love to see you take my hand and let me lead you. I will lead you around this dance floor with such ease. Everyone will be watching us. They know there is something different about you now. You walk in my peace, in full awareness of my presence and my approval. It’s the peace that comes from righteousness. (Isaiah 32:17) When you know my desire is for you, you can rest in my love.
I say to you today, this is your new beginning in my love. I always give the gift of entering into a new day with new mercies.
The season has shifted now. You’ve come through the valley of sorrow, (Psalm 84:6) and now you’ve grown much stronger. You are like one of the soldiers who endured through the winter when the continental army was stationed at valley forge. There have been some severe conditions you have endured this past season but I have worked it for your good. What didn’t kill you made you stronger. You are now arising as a warrior in power and authority within my ekklesia. Your hands are trained for battle. I have many good gifts coming for you. The tide has turned in your favor.
“The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.” (Song of Songs 2:11-13 TPT)
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
James 1:12
