Put Me To The Test

 I hear him say, (2.14.23)

“It’s my delight to watch you blossom and grow strong and secure unable to be shaken by the strongest winds. My love is your roots system. (Ephesians 3:17) You can trust me explicitly. I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6) My love bond with you is unbreakable. (Romans 8:38-39) My sun will always shine on you. The light of my face will shine upon you and give you blessings, favor, and peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)

There is something precious about our relationship. It’s more costly than gold. It’s more valuable than anything this world has to offer you. It’s everlasting joy. (Psalm 16:11, Isaiah 35:10) It’s holding hands with your maker and everlasting father. (Isaiah 41:13, Psalm 37:24, Psalm 73:23, Isaiah 9:6) It’s being found and enjoyed by the one who knows every detail about you, delights in you, and looks after your welfare.

Come to the Father and be satisfied. Find lasting contentment. (Isaiah 55:1-13) There is no other place to find your identity and your purpose but in me child. As you seek me, you find not only me but yourself. (1 John 3:2) All the lies of the enemy about who you are begin to be exposed and fall off as you see yourself reflected in my image. (2 Corinthians 3:18)

I don’t want you to search for me in the ways of this corrupt world because you cannot find me there. They will eat you up and spit you out. They will leave you broken, beaten, battered and bruised. I am your home. Your safe place to dwell in. I can heal and deliver you from their bondage but that lifestyle was never meant for you. That’s why you haven’t felt settled there. I have much greater things in store for you my beloved. Your worth is so valuable! I desire what’s best for you. In me is everlasting life. (John 17:3) In me is everlasting joy, (Isaiah 51:11) and everlasting peace, (John 14:27) Don’t weary yourself trying to find shade under the tree of another. I’m here to be your shelter, to take care of your needs. Put me to the test. Fully surrender to me and watch me turn things around and make a way in your life where there seems to be no way. I want to come inhabit your home and answer your prayers, but you must stop running and let me lead. I’m drawing you in now.” (John 6:44)
