It's Time

 

I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” (Psalms‬ ‭32‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭TPT‬‬)

I hear him say, “I’m saying there are many in my body who are resistant to the change that I desire to bring and they desperately need. They’ve become too comfortable with the cultural norm, with the status quo, but it’s time to rise up and take the land. It’s time to kick out the giants. It’s time to arise in my power and authority over the schemes of the enemy. I have not called you to be lukewarm but to be “ALL IN.” You can’t play the game from the sidelines. I’m calling you into the game. It’s time to arise and fight the good fight of faith. So many have been lulled to sleep by the cares of this world. Their spiritual eyes have been darkened to the destiny I have for them. They have forgotten who they truly are IN ME. I see them asleep at the wheel. I’m calling for an awakening. I’m coming to breathe on the sleepy ones and make them burn like fire once again. 

It’s time to shut the door firmly on the things that once caused compromise in your heart. I’m exposing the things that have drawn my bride into a love affair with the world. Anything that is taking my place in your heart is idolatry. Ask me to show you where the holes are in your fences, where the enemy has been able to weasel his way in. 

I desire for you to burn for me and me only. Not burn in pain but in love, in passion. You are called to a passionate pursuit of the “more of me.” You are called to leave what was familiar and go on a journey to discovery the hidden things I’ve planned for you to find. You’ve only experienced the tip of the iceberg of all that I am and have for you and sadly have forgotten even that. You must be willing to, like Abraham, go to where I am calling you- deeper into my heart. If the direction you’re headed in is anywhere but closer to me than you, are headed the wrong way. You can choose to come closer every day or remain at a distance from me. My heart is where the breakthrough lies. My heart is where the joy is, where the peace is, where your safety lies. 

I say all this to warn you. There is a way that seems right to man but leads to death, (Proverbs 14:12) So, stop forging your own path and seek my direction. I will not lead you astray. I am the ONLY way. Come to me and truly live. In me you live and move and have your being. Surrender to my guidance and watch all of heaven back you. In your humility I can lift you up. (1 Peter 5:6) But if you continue to resist in pride, I can only oppose. (James 4:6) 

Let me elevate your thinking. Let me show you things you are unaware of. (Jeremiah 33:3) I am going to blow your mind with wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of me that will empower you for the days ahead. (Ephesians 1:16-21) 

It’s time to walk by faith like never before. It’s time to allow me to be your guide. Simply trust me to show you the way, one step at a time. Your freedom is here, your freedom is now. 

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans‬ ‭12‬:2 ESV)"‭
