The Way of Escape
I hear him say, (1.9.23)
Come to me you who are weary and I will give you rest. Don’t beat yourself up for lack of self control in the past. Ask me to fill you with grace and determination to push through. Cry out to me in your time of distress and need and recognize my righteous right arm is always there to help you and sustain you. Don’t fear messing up. Just come to me and rest your weary head on my chest. I’m here for you whenever you need me- always. I’m not distant. Don’t distance yourself from me.
Don’t allow any room for guilt, condemnation, and shame to take up residence in your thoughts. Simply repent of any wrongdoing or thinking and walk with me in the light. You are in my light if you wish you hadn’t done it. Your heart is desiring to please me. I see your heart.
The accuser is a liar. (Revelation 12:10, John 8:44) He will plant thoughts in your mind and make you think they are your thoughts. (2 Corinthians 10:5, James 1:13,15) They aren’t. They are sent from the father of lies. Ask me to reveal any lies you have been believing so you can break agreement with them and walk fully in my truth and freedom. I see you under limitations that have been put in place by the enemy, that I never intended you to live under. You are above accusation, not beneath. (Colossians 1:22) I’m calling you higher- to your seat of authority in me. (Ephesians 2:6) I’m giving you new lenses to see my kingdom through. (Matthew 13:16) I’m renewing your perspective where the truth trumps and defeats all lies. I’m coming to help you weed the garden of your heart where the enemy has sown lies. (Matthew 13:25) If you agree with the counterfeit gospel of works and a victim mindset planted by the enemy you will have a form of godliness but deny its power. (2 Timothy 3:5) The time is now to come out of agreement with a worldly mindset and start to agree with the true reality of your existence and spiritual dominance over the enemy. (Matthew 16:23, Luke 10:19)
There is a way of escape. It’s found in submission and surrender to me. (James 4:7, 1 Corinthians 10:13) It’s about proximity. Come abide in me. As I dwell in you, come and dwell in me. (John 15:4, Colossians 3:3) It’s about humbling yourself before me. (James 4:10, 1 Peter 5:6)
