Let MY Word Dwell In You
“I love to see you light up when you read my Word! It’s so fun for me! My words are LIFE! My words ARE me. I am the Word made flesh. (John 1:14) I’m a life-giving spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45) therefore, my Word is life giving and you also are a life-giving spirit in this new creation life I’ve given you. As you invite my Word into your womb and speak it- you birth life.
It’s the opposite of what happens when you allow sinful thoughts to enter your spiritual womb- “When a person is carried away with desire, lured by lust, and when desire becomes the focus and takes control, it gives birth to sin. When sin becomes fully grown, it produces death.” (James 1:14-15)
My Word when planted in your spiritual womb produces LIFE! Let your heart be the good soul my Word can dwell in. (Matthew 13:8)
“Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences.” (Proverbs 18:21 TPT)
What you allow to be planted within you and what you speak forth has the power to create life or to cause death. That’s why I want you to fill up on my life-giving words, then they will pour out of you, bubbling up into eternal life! (John 4:14, Matthew 4:4)
Demolish every imagination that isn’t from me. Take captive every thought and hold it in obedience to me.
“For every word Yahweh speaks is sure and reliable. His truth is tested, found to be flawless, and ever faithful. It’s as pure as silver refined seven times in a crucible of clay.” (Psalms 12:6 TPT)
Determine to speak only what you hear me speaking. (John 12:49, John 16:13-15) Allow your ear to be tuned in to my voice. (John 10:4-5) If it doesn’t sound like me, it shouldn’t be allowed to dwell in you or take up residence in you.
Let the water of my Word continually cleanse you. (Ephesians 5:26)
“How can a young person remain pure? Only by living according to my word.” (Psalm 119:9)
Let my word dwell in you richly.
“Let the word of the Anointed One richly inhabit your lives. With all wisdom teach, counsel, and instruct one another. Sing the psalms, compose hymns and songs inspired by the Spirit, and keep on singing—sing to God from hearts full and spilling over with thankfulness.” (Colossians 3:16)
“Listen carefully and open your heart. Drink in the wise revelation that I impart. You’ll become winsome and wise when you treasure the beauty of my words. And always be prepared to share them at the appropriate time.“ (Proverbs 22:17-18TPT)
“Let the words from the book of the law be always on your lips. Meditate on them day and night so that you may be careful to live by all that is written in it. If you do, as you make your way through this world, you will prosper and always find success.” (Joshua 1:8)
These words have the power to change your trajectory. They make way for the impossible to be birthed in your life just like Abraham experienced. (Romans 4:18) When accepted and believed my words change the narrative. This day when you hear me speak, don’t harden your hearts as the Israelites did in the time of rebellion. (Hebrews 3:7-8)
I want you to receive my Word like Mary, your heart’s response being, “I am the servant of the Lord. May it be unto me according to your Word.” (Luke 1:38) Selah.
