The Choice Is Yours

I hear him say: (12.2.22)
I’m laying you bare in this season. Your circumstances that brought comfort have shifted ever so slightly so that the things that need to come out of the woodwork can be exposed. Where your trust truly lies is coming to the light. All false foundations not grounded in me are becoming evident. It’s up to you to choose if you will make adjustments and lay those false idols and ideologies down. You’re at a crossroads, which way will you choose? The way you’ve learned from the world or letting me lead you?
You can turn a blind eye and choose to go off the cliff with the rest of the herd (There is a way that seems right to man, but the end leads to death. Proverbs 14:12)
Or you can heed my warning and come to me and live.
“Come to me with your ears wide open.
Listen, and you will find life.
I will make an everlasting covenant with you.
I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.” Isaiah 55:3
Humble yourself, kill the pride, and lay down under my mighty hand and allow me to lift you up. (1 Peter 5:6)
I’m your provider and protector. This world’s claims of provision and protection are like shifting sand and shifting shadows. It’s time to go all in with me. In order for there to be real healing and lasting breakthrough you must invite me in. Remove the things that are hindering you from trusting in me. Remove the garbage. (Philippians 3:8) Is it your confidence in financial security? Your work? Your understanding? In books? In science? In doctors? Those with doctorates? OR is it IN ME?
What is the world offering you that my blood didn’t already pay for on the cross? I see you straddling a fence. The temptation to solve things in the natural is there. You must be a wholehearted bride. Wholeheartedly offering yourself on the altar as a living sacrifice. Wisdom is found in surrendering to me.
What has you loyalty- the world or me? Don’t be lukewarm. Choose to draw close to me and forsake all other lovers. Find true rest and peace in me. I remove your weariness and heavy burdens. (Matthew 11:28) I remove your feet from the miry clay and set your feet upon a rock. (Psalm 40:2) not just once when you gave your life to me, but continually as you come to me.
When you come to the cross and lay yourself down, I make a way where there seems to be no way. (Exodus 14:21, Isaiah 43:19) The lower you go in humility and surrender, the higher I will exalt you.
Come like a child and I’ll unlock doors you haven’t even dreamed possible. “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3) My resources are available through faith. Faith is your currency, not works. Don’t be like the older brother in the parable of the prodigal son. Come home to me daily and wear the robe of righteousness I’ve given you. I’ve already purchased your place in my kingdom. You don’t have to strive for it. I’m calling you to live by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) That means I’m taking you a way you’ve never been before. In order for you to arrive at the destination, you must follow my lead.
“We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 10:5 AMP
