It's Time to Claim Your Inheritance

This morning, God highlighted to me this promise He made to Joshua that he has made available to us today through Jesus’ sacrifice and victory on the cross. 

“No one will be able to defeat you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will never fail you or abandon you.” Joshua 1:5 🤯🙌🎉

 (Every spiritual blessing.. Eph. 1:3, Authority over all the powers of the enemy.. Luke 10:19) SELAH on that for a while! Ask him what this means for you in your life!

 Our struggle isn't against flesh and blood.. (Eph. 6:12) but he’s given us the ability to conquer all spiritual opposition! It’s our inheritance in Christ! 

Also, a study note from my bible on the book of Joshua: “Canaan was a fertile land. It symbolizes the abundant life of the victorious believer. Canaan had to be conquered, and so our promises and blessings must be claimed by faith. The law of Moses did not attain Canaan but only the grace of God did. Heathen hordes inhabited Canaan, and God’s people had to purge the land of the powers of darkness and idolatry; just as we must purge our hearts” (See Hebrews 9:23, Eph. 6:12)

A prayer you can pray with me: 

“God, we repent for forgetting who we are in you and all you’ve promised us. We return back to our fortress, Jesus. We put on the full armor you’ve given us. We choose to take a stand. Help us to see ourselves victorious in you and take the promise land you’ve made available to us! Help us see with spiritual understanding everything you’ve given us and rejoice in it! Help us walk today in God-fidence as more than conquerors- seeing ourselves the way you see us- above and not beneath, the head and not the tail, blessed with every spiritual blessing, highly favored, and deeply loved by you, our creator and defender. We are your precious cherished children as well as kings and priests in your kingdom. We love you Abba. Thank you for the victory of the cross. We rest in that victory today. We enter into a higher level of rested faith in you today, seated with you in heavenly places far above the “rat-race.” We thank you that you’re the answer to our every need and concern. We know you go before us and are making a way where there seems to be no way as we partner with you. You’re parting our seas and fighting for us helping us to advance and take what’s ours by faith! We declare- Our lives are in your hands, our futures are in your hands, our families are in your hands, our finances are in your hands, we trust you, God! In Jesus’ authority, we pray these things. Amen.”
