Wrap Yourself in My Love

(I saw myself wrapping myself in Jesus as if he were a blanket, then I saw myself putting on Christ Jesus like a coat.)

My first thought was “Oh! to be surrounded by his love in such a way!”

“Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭13‬:‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What are you saying about this Lord?

I heard the Lord say, (11.30.22)

“My desire is for you to come home and rest in my love. Let it bolster you with confidence, grace, and peace to go back out into the world. Be rooted and grounded in my love. (Ephesians 3:17) When you exit this place of seclusion with me, don’t leave my love. Carry it with you. Let it surround you. Put it on and don’t take it off. Let it be to you like a warm blanket on a cold day. In wearing me, you will be constantly aware of my presence with you throughout your day."

“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,‬‬ bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.‬‬

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭12-14‬ ‭ESV‬‬

When you put on compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, know they are my feelings and nature towards you. I’m compassionate towards you. My eyes look upon you with kindness. I am humble and meek. I am ever patient with you in your weakness. From this place of receiving, you will be able to bear with others and forgive as I have forgiven you.

Again I say, put on my love! Wrap yourself in it. Clothe yourself in my love. Let it be your defense against the dark darts of the enemy.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. (1 Corinthians 13:7)

In receiving my love, you will have it to give.

"There is nothing more important than learning to abide in me and my love. In your submission to me is your rest and your salvation. (Isaiah 30:15)  All eternal life comes from abiding in the vine. All fruitfulness comes from abiding in the vine. All healing comes from abiding in the vine. Answers to prayer come from abiding in the vine. I AM the vine. Remain in me and watch me flow out of you like the most beautiful river. Others will come and jump into the flow and find the refreshing their hearts long for.”  (John 4:14, John 7:37-39, Revelation 21:6)

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another.”

‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭5-17‬ ‭ESV‬‬
