11.17.22 I hear Him say:
“Don’t rush, don’t hurry, don’t busy yourself away from me. You should not be a whirlwind. I am not in the whirlwind. I am in the gentle breeze. Allow yourself grace and room to listen. I will guide you today. You will hear my voice directing you, saying this is the way, walk in it.
Don’t be worried or dismayed, I’ve gone before you into this day. I will help you overcome every obstacle that is in front of you. I have given you the power to overcome. Don’t fret. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Allow me to enter into the difficult situations with you with my grace. Lean into me when things feel heavy or discouraging. I don’t want you to try and be perfect and do everything today. I actually want you to practice receiving from me what you need throughout the day. If you’re feelings get agitated, step into my heart and feel my rest and peace wash over you as you surrender the need for control over to me again.
Peace comes in surrender. In your letting go of the need to control and simply trust me I give you my perfect peace. Put off impatience. Put on my rest. It’ll all get done when it needs to get done.
Don’t over complicate things, my dear. If you make yourself a mountain to climb you’ll be too busy climbing to take part in all the wonderful other areas of your life I desire to delight in with you. You don’t have to do everything. Maybe start with one or two small things. I like to see your creativity. I like to hear you thinking of others and their needs and desires. Let’s think about them together.
I want you to build my house. I want you steadfastly focused on ministering to me, like Anna in the temple. I can minister through you, ministering to those around you. It doesn’t have to look like 24/7 in the prayer closet. I delight to feel your eyes on me, your heart turned towards me. Make your ministry about loving me. That’s all I’m asking for. Love me, love me well.”
“You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes! “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you! Now go up into the hills, bring down timber, and rebuild my house. Then I will take pleasure in it and be honored, says the Lord.”
