Peace by Piece

As I prayed I saw what I knew to be peace running past what I knew to represent understanding. Going beyond it.
As I asked him about this,
I heard the Lord say: (11.26.22)
“It’s up to you to enter this place of trust and rest with me as you lay your requests before me in prayer, my peace overtakes and outruns your understanding." (Phil. 4:7)
The truth is- you don’t need to have it all figured out, you just need to abide in the one who does. Calm and quiet your soul, like a weaned child with its mother. (Psalm 131) Sit with me in the darkness, in the unknown. Truth will come. Direction will come. But don’t idolize answers. Magnify me. As long as you idolize the answers above relationship with me they will be a spur in your heel causing you undo stress, strain, and pressure. I give you the puzzle pieces a little at a time so we can go on this journey together. Don’t rush ahead of me. You will only frustrate yourself with the holes in the picture. The puzzle should be a relaxing past time that you can sit with me and work on and then leave unfinished till another day.
Don’t run to this world to solve all your problems or answer all your questions. Come, wait on me. As the watchmen wait for the morning wait on the Lord. (Psalm 130:6) Put all your trust in me again. Don’t be like Israel who ran to ally herself with other nations when war loomed imminent. Ally yourself with me only! Come, seek me for truth! I break the bonds of the oppressed. IN ME is your healing. IN ME is your deliverance. IN ME is your salvation! Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which you must be saved. (Acts 4:12) I’m the one with all wisdom, all knowledge, and all power.
Rest in confident assurance of my ability to work it out for your good (Romans 8:28) as you place all your weaknesses and struggles in my hands. Cease striving and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10)
Come, like Mary, and sit at my feet with eyes fixed on me. Let me teach you, shepherd you, and tenderly care for you.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 ESV
