What Does Your Garden Grow?

I hear him say: 9.8.22

“I make my home in you, dear one. I love your openness with me. You’ve called and I’ve come. Here I am before you now. I’m here to right wrongs and to love you to wholeness. The first step is to allow me entrance into your heart once more.

Your heart is made to inhabit me. The things of this world have left weeds in the garden of your heart. I invite you to come with me and pull up the weeds. Let’s make this place flourish under our watchful care. The soil here needs to be tended to. We need to break up the fallow ground. Let me show where the enemy has planted disappointments and trauma that have produced hardness towards me and my promises for you. Let me show you how to dig up these rocks of unbelief till the soil is ready to produce fruit.

There is buried treasure here in this garden of your heart. These precious gems I’ve placed in your heart have been buried for far too long. I’m coming to reveal these to you. Your true identity is this buried treasure. The false labels you’ve worn are going to be exposed and dealt with. You will be seen as your true self- a jewel in my crown.

Your heart is what I value most about you. It’s not how well you perform. It’s not your gifting. It’s your desire for me and only me. It’s your desire for purity.

See this crystal clear water running through our garden? That’s my river of living water inside of you. It’s pure. It’s untainted by the sin of this world. Come bathe in the river again. Allow my spirit to baptize you afresh. Let me wash away the things that have tarnished and weighed down your heart.

I invite you to return here to swim in this river with me every time you feel like you need my healing touch again.”

And the Lord their God shall save them on that day As the flock of His people; For they are like the [precious] jewels of a crown, Displayed and glittering in His land. Zech. 9:16

Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live. Ezekiel 47:9

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. Psalm 46:4
