Have You Sold Out?

I hear Him say: 9.27.22

 “My faithfulness is my commitment to you. It’s my everlasting covenant. My faithfulness reaches down and pulls you out of the waterless pit. My faithfulness is who I am by nature. My love never fails. I am love. 

Come and make your home here in my love again. Nuzzle in close to me when the world seems harsh against you. Remember I am your defender, protector, and champion. 

I want all of you. I don’t want to share you with other idols. You are my possession. You are to have no other gods before me. I’m here to cleanse the temple of your heart again. Go after the little foxes that spoil our vineyard. If you want to go deeper in me, and know me more intimately you need to rid yourself of ALL other lovers. 

Your heart is exquisite to me. It’s my greatest prize. Your accomplishments are outward. I care more about what’s happening on the inside of you. My heart longs for your heart as deep calls to deep. Let’s make this place a holy place where it’s you and me alone. When I set up residence in your heart, I purify this fountain. This is our garden enclosed, a locked garden, where you and I can be one. I want to walk with you in the cool of the day. I bring refreshment to you as you listen to my words of love. 

Are you truly “sold out” for me? I’m calling you out and up. It’s time for you to answer the call like Abraham. You are to leave the familiar behind and follow me into new territory.
