You Are Free to Shine!

I hear Him say- (8.30.22)

I love you. I dearly love you. There is no one else I’d rather spend time with right now than you. I see you pushing. I see you trying and I’m so grateful to have you come near. I want you to draw closer still. Put your arms around me. Embrace me. Let me impart to you my strength. 

I’ve come. You’ve called and I’ve come. I’m moving closer. Closer still. Into your heart this time. I’m the one climbing in and exploring it’s depths. Don’t be intimidated. My love for you won’t change. I already know what’s there. It’s like a museum to me. All the beauty of the artwork is your love for me and others. It’s breathtaking really. I’m not afraid of the dark places that you’d rather me leave buried. It’s ok. Don’t be ashamed or afraid. 

I’m coming in and turning on the lights. I’m exposing the work of the enemy against you. I’m here to say enough is enough. Let’s go to war against those lies together. Let’s not be swift to tidy the outside areas but not deal with the more important, deeper matter of the heart. It’s heart sickness that needs to be healed first and foremost. Everything else flows from that. 

It’s not the areas you’re even aware of probably. It’s the roots I’m going after. Not the behavior. I’m removing the lies so the weeds don’t crop up again in our garden of intimacy. 

There are things that have hindered your walk with me. They are deeper than you have felt comfortable to go. You thought it would take many years to untangle all the lies and be free from the weight of them, but I tell you It’s as simple as flicking a light switch. One word from me and darkness is dissolved and truth sets you free. But you must allow me entrance to those places and seek first my kingdom. If you want to keep going around doing your deeds in darkness, you will hinder yourself from walking in the light with me. 

In this place of exposure is freedom from captivity. Its raw vulnerability. It’s a place of humbling yourself under my mighty hand and recognizing you can’t do any of this on your own. It’s total surrender. It’s a laying aside of everything you thought you knew. It’s laying aside pride. It’s complete honesty. No more hiding. 

I know you want revival for your family and friends and specifically that other person that keeps coming to mind. But, I need you first to allow me to work inside of you. We need to go into your closet together and do an interior makeover. We need to expose the things that have been hiding in there causing you undo pain and shame. 

I want complete access to all of you. You may think you’re all in, but I’m inviting you deeper. 

What if you really gave me everything? What if you walked in continual repentance receiving and giving my forgiveness. What if you continually received my mercy and grace for yourself and those around you. 

I say you’re a water sprinkler that never shuts off. That sprays love on everyone around you and never stops, never gets clogged with offense. That’s who you are because that’s who I am. Not someone closed off with arms folded. Someone so open people open up and cry to you. Pour out their hearts to you. Even the hardest of hearts melt in your love. They can’t hold it in any longer because the love of the father flows out of your heart onto them every time they’re around you. 

You are not aware of this, but you’ve been living in a cave. I’m calling you out of the cave into the brightness of a new day. I’m restoring the health of your heart so you can love others from a pure place. A place free from hurt and offense, bitterness and selfishness. Free from trauma, free from fear of being hurt, free from self-imposed isolation, free from fear of rejection, free from demonic oppression, free from mental exhaustion and confusion. Free from the bondages of religion, legalism and performance. 

Free to be cared for by me. Free to be a child. Free to be wrong and not embarrassed. Free to be messy and still loved. Free to be yourself completely. Free to rest in my care. Free to dance. Free to sing. Free to speak freely. Free to boldly approach my throne of grace and receive mercy and grace in your time of need. Free to shine like the brightness of the noonday sun. 

Maybe you’ve experienced a taste of this freedom. You know there is still more for you, right? I will not withhold anything from you. It’s the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. On this side of eternity! I want you completely whole. I’ve come to set your feet free to dance. Let me show you areas I still want to touch and bring deliverance. I’m restoring you back to me, back to innocence again. 

Come, open the door. Pick up paper and pen and ask me what roots I’m going after. I’ve come to set the captives free. I love you dearly. It’s not ok with me to see you walking wounded. Invite me in. Let me restore the furniture that’s been knocked around and put things back in proper order again. This is my domain now. I’m terminating the enemy’s right to encroach. I’m mending holes in the fences, removing his access. His time is up! It’s a new season of me returning what’s been stolen from you.
