Victory Belongs to the Lord

i Hear Him Say:

Don’t fret about tomorrow. Don’t fret about today. Come receive from me like Mary did, at my feet. She did not bow to the pressures around her or let the cares of this world steal the good word I was planting in her. She stayed seated at peace as a student at my feet.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.

Don’t sweat the small stuff, let it be water under the bridge. Bless and do not curse. Choose to dwell on the good today and things to be thankful for. Allow me to right the things that are wrong. Don’t take vengeance into your own hands and push me out of the equation. I’m your vindicator.

It is true when they say, “Victory belongs to the Lord.” If victory belongs to me, should anything prevent you from walking victoriously? Did not my cross pay the ultimate price for your victory right now? I charge you to walk in the victory of the cross today. Don’t be below, be lifted up. I extend my arm to lift you up out of the pit by the blood of my covenant with you. Grab on to me. Return as a prisoner of hope back to your fortress. Even now, I announce to you that I will return to you twice as much. I’ve come to lift your chin up. Don’t look to the past, don’t look to the things that didn’t work out as planned. Forgetting what is behind straining forward to what lies ahead, press on toward the goal to win the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, set your face like flint and know that you will not be put to shame. Do not despair, but be certain that you WILL see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

It’s time to remove your sackcloth and ashes and realize I am not against you and your family. If I am for you who or what can be against you? Start to magnify me and see the giants in your land become much smaller.

Though it may seem like all hell has broken out against you. You have not been thrown down. You have remained. So I’m sending winds of refreshing to come and hold up your arms like Aaron and Hur did for Moses on the day of battle. Take your seat on my rock. I extend my arms of mercy and grace to you. It’s all you need to see you through this fight. Remain confident in my ability to rescue you and pull you through.

This is not the end, this only the beginning! (I see Him say this with a twinkle in His eyes) Look on the days ahead with joyful anticipation of my goodness chasing you down. Begin to pray big, bold prayers like a child and see me show myself faithful on your behalf! Put all your eggs in my basket. Commit your heart fully to see my salvation and I WILL NOT disappoint you. The days of hope-deferred are a thing of the past, you are entering a season of giant slaying and promises fulfilled. Arise mighty warrior, your time has come to fight the good fight of faith. You’re no longer to sit on the sidelines, now is your time.
