Stop Trying to Make it on Your Own

I hear him say: (8.21.22)

I love you. I always have. I always will. It’s not up to you to decide the direction you’re to go anymore. You’ve given me your life. You must lean in and completely surrender to my plan now. This is my show. You’re just living it. You have been crucified with me. You no longer live, but I live in you. 

You shouldn’t run after other lovers that don’t satisfy. Don’t you see? I’ve come and given you my utmost faithfulness and unending love. You wouldn’t want your earthly spouse to only give you 90% of themselves and give 10% of themselves to another lover. I desire all of you. 

You shouldn’t try to satisfy yourself on lesser fare when I’ve come to satisfy you with the riches from my storehouses. “Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.” Isaiah 55:2 niv

It’s pig slop compared to the the finest cuisine.

Come lay down on the altar and die to your selfish ambition again if you want to have a life filled with my glory. There is no comparison. The greater glory far outweighs the momentary suffering. Come, live all in! You must be willing to die to selfishness, willing to suffer, and enter into my glory. It’s going through childbirth to have the gift of new life! Let me increase you. The birthing pains will seem as nothing compared to the glory I’ve prepared for you to carry. Let me open your eyes to see my goodness like never before.

I’m calling you up and out of the systems of this world. Just like I freed my Israelites from Egypt so I’m freeing you. Don’t be stiff necked, refusing to be led. Don’t harden your hearts as they did during the rebellion. 

You must stop trying to make it on your own and truly let me father you. Let me lead you into a new day. A new season. A greater existence. Now is a time of consecration. Things cannot go on the way they have been if you want to enter my rest. I’m bringing a divine rearrange.  I’m rearranging many things including your priorities. 

You need to offer up your plans to me and let me put things in proper order. If you go your own way the end result will be more captivity. If you follow my steps for success you’ll find eternal pleasures and greater freedom than you could ever imagine, fathom. 

Let me be Lord, Head, and King over every aspect of your life. I’m coming to have it all. Don’t push me into a corner. It’s vital that you let me have my way in your life to bring my kingdom restoration and awakening to the areas that have gone stagnant and apathetic. I don’t want you straddling the fence any longer. You need to be completely enveloped in my kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. This means you need to relearn some things that religion taught you. I don’t want your works. I am not impressed by your gifts. I gave them to you. If you have not love, you’re like a clanging gong.  If you have not me, you’re only producing chaff. I am not satisfied by outward appearances. I want your heart. I want your life. Even if this wholehearted worship makes others mock and reject you. You need to care only about my opinion. 

This is your wake up call. There is a need for whole hearted surrender, whole hearted devotion. Come love on me and only me again. “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.” Matthew 19:29
