Obedience Before Understanding

I love you my dear one. My heart for you is pure light. It’s a healing, purifying light. It’s soft, gentle rays penetrate deep into the very core of your identity. It’s ok to not really know who you were meant to be. I’m going to reveal it to you. Sit at my feet and watch me unveil your destiny. Ask me how I see you and what names I call you. It’s more Important now than ever that you agree with what I’m speaking over you so you can rise up in confidence and be fully free from shame and insecurity. 

See, there are treasures I’ve placed inside of you that you’re not even aware of yet. I’m going to awaken these gifts I’ve given you. Like Pinocchio wanted to become a real boy, I see your desire to become fully alive in me. It’s going to be so natural- the way you shine for me. I’m doing away with hypocrisy and performance and making you free to be authentic, uniquely, beautifully you! These gifts from my Spirit will begin to pour out of you as you seek relationship with me first. 

You will begin to operate at a higher level of discernment. You will be able to rightly see in your desires what is of me and what is of the flesh. There will be a greater distinction between the desires of my Spirit in you and the lust of the flesh. My word comes and separates the soul and spirit. This is surely happening in you as you yield to my hand.  I’m beckoning you to come with me to a higher place of surrender. Offering your Isaacs on the altar. I’m giving you a greater grace to no longer yo-yo back and forth between flesh and spirit but to stay free from sin, IN ME. I’m coming to show you areas where you’ve allowed your flesh to lead you. I’m renewing your mind and showing you my higher way. There is a choice you get to make. Will you surrender all day-every day to the work of The Potter? Will you walk in step with the Spirit or continue to walk in your own understanding, trying to control the outcome? I encourage you to daily lay on my altar and allow my refining fire to come and purify your heart and renew your mind like clay on the potters wheel. Offer up your right to be right and allow me to show you the true right way. 

To walk in my Spirit is filled with the fruit of my Spirit and the gifts of my Spirit. You must shut the door to the old nature. It takes a complete surrender and death to the old way of independence from me. 

To walk in my Spirit is to be walking on water with me, believing the impossible and doing the impossible. It’s walking by faith and not by sight, obedience before understanding. It’s a removal of cynicism, a new guileless approach to my Word and my kingdom. It’s a childlike acceptance of my truths. Its the only way to feel truly alive. I’ve heard your prayers. I’m coming to wake you up to who you were destined to be, and it’s something truly spectacular to see.
