Make Your Home in My Love

I Hear Him Say;

I’m with you. I always have been and I always will be.

I love it when you come and sit under my apple tree and rest in the shade I provide. I refresh you with my apples. Come, enjoy this fare I’ve provided for you. I call you “my beloved” and I cherish you. I nourish you. It’s not up to you what I will call you. I chose this name “my beloved.” It’s how I feel about you. You are mine. As the word implies in Hebrew, I boil with passion for you.

You are marked by my love. Place it like a seal upon your heart. Let this love be your security, your confidence, your open door to my heart. Let this love be the fuel for your worship and nearness. Let this love be your reason for ministry.  When your consumed with the revelation of my love all the other idols and agendas get throne on the garbage heap.

Come, sit under my apple tree again and let me make known to you how I feel about you, how I see you. Let me show you my nail-pierced hands and feet, the scars on my back, and my pierced side. All these are evidence of my inexhaustible love for you.  I proved my love in this: while you were yet a sinner, I died for you.

Come, make your home in my love. I’ve paved the way. Come, receive, and be refreshed once more in my ardent affection. Today is a day to rest and be refreshed in my unending, enduring love.
