It’s Time to Surf the Waves
I Hear Him Say:
I’m happy with you, my child, for remaining strong and not getting washed up by the opposition. Keep standing strong though opposition exists and doesn’t go away as quickly as you’d want sometimes. I’m teaching you to get back on your board when you wipe out. I’m teaching you to rise above and surf the waves with me. This is for your strengthening- you are in endurance training. Through this opposition, this tension, you’re learning to conquer. You’re learning to rightly wield my sword of truth. You are learning to stand on my precious promises and war against the lies of the enemy. What used to knock you out of play and push you down repeatedly is now being pushed back as you persist in standing on my truth. What used to steal your peace is now disarmed by my truth.
Don’t think you haven’t made progress! You’ve remained when all hell was breaking loose to try to take you out. Satan has been out to sift you like wheat, yet I have prayed that your faith may not fail. And when you pull through, strengthen your brothers and sisters! You’re further now then you’ve ever been. And it’s only just the beginning!
You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus who loves you. I say this to you who feel like Gideon. I know you feel like you are small and insignificant. You don’t feel like a mighty warrior or a hyper conqueror yet. But I say to you, receive my truth of your identity as “more than a conqueror” and “mighty warrior.” Put on this mantle I’ve given you today and every day. Esther didn’t know she was called to be royalty. Your destiny is in my hands just like hers was. “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9
Don’t pull and tug away from me like a stubborn mule as I’m leading you.
I’m helping you and teaching you to overcome. I didn’t come to remove you from this world and it’s trouble but to overcome the world IN ME.
So pick up your mat and walk with me. Put off your victim mindset and declare the truth- you are above and not beneath, the head and not the tail. You are accepted in the beloved. You were born to overcome, to rule and to reign, to look and act like me. To come out of the fire of testing unscathed and not even smelling like smoke. What didn’t kill you made you stronger!
