Remember Me Today: I AM THE WAY

Remember me today. Remember my broken body and spilled blood for the remission of your sins. Remember my resurrection on the third day. Remember your forgiveness and freedom from the tyrannical rule of the kingdom of darkness. Celebrate your union with me, Resurrected into new life with me!

Remember my mercy. Like a mother carrying her baby in her womb, so my compassion carries you and hides you in me. I sustain you today. When the world seems harsh against you come, draw away and find me reaching out to you, embracing you. I am your comforter today. I am your peace. Focus your gaze back on me when you feel shaken and watch me deliver you and keep your feet from slipping. 

I am your ever-present help in times of need. So call out to me. Cling to me! I am Deliver, Savior, Prince of Peace, God of your Breakthrough. 

Don’t build for yourself your own cistern. It will break and not be able to hold water. Come to me to be your source. I have for you here a fountain of living water.  Don’t run after things that don’t truly satisfy but only leave you more desperate than you were before, like the prodigal son. I have called you not to lean on your own understanding but to come to me and let me father you and show you the way.

Don’t put a little bandaid on a deep wound. Come to me and let me heal you. I heal the broken-hearted  and bind up their wounds. 

Remember me today. Remember I AM THE WAY.
