Let the Weak say, “I am Strong”
I hear Him say: 7.30.22
“It’s not about performance, it’s about surrender. It’s about being poor in spirit, humble in spirit. Come like a child with empty hands and hearts full of praise. Remember what it was like when you first gave me your heart? You were so undone by my loving kindness. You wanted to talk to me and hear me all the time. You left everything to follow me. You felt so clean, so new, so alive, so at peace, so in awe of my mercy and grace. You wanted to talk about what I had done in your life with everyone.
I’m calling you back to that place. Return to your first love where I’m the center of your life. Where there is nothing more pressing in your day than spending time with me. Receive from me freely all you want, so you can then freely give like a child with no worries about every running out.
I want to walk with you like I walked with Adam in the garden in the cool of the day. Let my presence constantly refresh you and draw you closer. I want to walk with you like Enoch. This walking is life together every day. It’s oneness. I’m closer than this air you’re breathing, closer even than your skin. I come into your heart as a gardener comes and sits in his paradise garden. I come and rest in your heart.
There is no more important place to be than in this garden of my pleasure. It’s where you’re truly nourished like a tree planted by streams of living water bearing fruit with ease and grace out of an overflow from my heart.
Apart from me comes weariness. In me, is life abundant. Weakness does not equate to weariness. Weakness is your natural state. When connected with me, your life-source, you find solace, grace, and my power rests on you. My strength is made complete in your weakness. When you are weak, then you are strong IN ME. Without recognizing your need how can I fill you? Come with your lack so I can fill with my sufficiency.
You lean in and receive exactly what you need to make it through. You learn endurance, just like birthing a child. I may not take you out of the labor, but I will help you through it and you will come out stronger than you’ve ever been. Unshaken and unshakable.
This is the life I’ve called you to. Endurance. Strength. Complete maturity. Conquering the intimidation of the enemy. Just like John the Baptist ate the locusts, so you will be strengthened by conquering these giants of opposition set before you. You are called to stand with strong and vigorous faith. Not thinking the giants are too big for you, but realizing I am much more powerful than these giants. Like Caleb, spy into your promise land and take hold of my precious promises. Don’t give in to fear but rise above it, you are seated with me in heavenly places. Again I say, you are above and not beneath. What if, IN ME, you’ve already won?
So enter into a rested faith. Believe as you surrender completely, you have complete victory. Whether you feel strong or not, like Gideon, your victory is assured if you just surrender completely.
