I Hear the Lord Say: (7.17.22)

 

I hear the Lord say: 

I’m here for you. I’m watching you. I’m pleased with you. I see how hard you’ve been trying. You are counting your every loss, thinking you’ve failed. You are seeing your struggle and feel like you’ve barely held on, but know this- I’m counting your every victory. I’m cheering you on. You’re still calling on my name. You haven’t denounced me and walked away from your faith in spite of fierce adversity. 

Maybe you’ve thought of yourself as Job, but you know the beauty in that?

It was but a brief time of struggle then came the refreshment! The restoration! The new life! The beauty of the aftermath of that testing came. 

So I say, call yourself a Job and REJOICE! Because it's coming to you!

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12) 

Guess what- I’m blessing you! You are blessed! What if that was what you declared over yourself and your situation? You lenses would change, your face would brighten. You would see my goodness and mercy following you. It is! It’s chasing you down! You can’t escape my love, just like Jonah couldn’t escape my attention, neither can you. I know exactly where you are and what you’ve done. And I’m still in love with you. 

I say it is well with you just as it was well with my son when he carried the cross. He was excited! He wasn’t weighed down by self-pity or offended by what people said or did to him. He was wholly surrendered to my will, knowing he didn’t war against flesh and blood. He knew that whole time my pleasure didn’t leave him. He was, is, and will forever be my son in whom I am well pleased. Guess what? You are my child in whom I’m well pleased also! He was victorious in me. He knew the cross was the way to victory and the way to your resurrection power, resurrection life! He knew it was for your redemption, salvation, and healing. He endured the cross scorning it’s shame for the joy set out before him, YOU! 

So I say, today is your time to arise and shine, filled with Hope! The expectation of good! I am a rewarder of those who diligently seek me remember? 

Depression isn’t from me. It’s not your portion. Renounce it. Remove the sackcloth and ashes and put on a garment of praise! Get out of isolation, get together with your church family. Lift your voice in worship and win the war! 

I came to give you life in abundance. Life to its fullest. Walk in my forgiveness. Give forgiveness out like someone in a parade throws out candy! Shower forgiveness, shower mercy, shower my love on those around you. Be like rubber where their words just bounce right off of you. That’s what I’ve called you to, and you CAN do it in me! You are not defined by their words: praises or criticism, you are defined by me and I’ve marked you with my love. Place it like a seal upon your heart. 

Many waters of affliction cannot quench this love. Nothing can ever separate you from my love. And when the world seems harsh against you, come back to this safe haven of my love. Remember, my love is not removed because there is a storm going on around you. Just rest in my love in the middle of the storm. Worship me and see the storm begin to die down. My ways are greater. Don’t succumb to doubts or fear like Peter on the water. Fix your gaze on me. Walk with me on top of the waves. Just you and me, holding hands. I’m not letting go, I never will.
